Held a midpack spot wide early - faded to the back and lacked fluency - stumbled three out and driven forward - swept through in a hurry on the outside as the bend straightened - hit the front nearing the final obstacle - kept finding more to the line

Settled towards the back of the pack - eased into contention behind the front group approaching 2 out - travelling nicely as the field bent for home - asked for effort and lost ground for the last - kept responding to the line but never able to land the spot
