Up with the front group in 3rd and not clean at the 1st - pressed forward on the wide path before the last and hit the front in the straight - stayed on strongly - margin trimmed near the line

Settled in mid-pack early - moved up to 4th two out under pressure - improved on the inner from the last then found 3rd shifting off the rail with a furlong left - closed to 2nd inside the final 150 yards and stayed on to finish narrowly second

Sat second early - had a couple of untidy jumps and driven from two out before losing footing slightly over the last - slipped back to third and stayed on but couldn't get to those ahead
