Held up towards the back early - moved into 6th after the 8th - began to make headway after 3 out - up into 5th turning for home - up to 3rd with two to jump - into second soon after - unable to reel in the one in front but stayed on well to the finish

Urged forward to sit behind the front-runner early - into 2nd by the 8th before hitting a flat spot 4 out - 3rd turning into the straight - rallied into 2nd before 2 out then slipped back to 3rd after it - unable to close in on the front pair and awkward at the last - stayed on at one gear to the line finishing 3rd
