All today's tips ›Zurich No. 1
Darragh O'Keeffe · Henry de Bromhead
✓ Top rated ✓ Distance winner ✓ Back from a 186-day break
Zurich is the standout on our figures, rated 142 and a full 9 lb clear of Hashtag Pretender on 133, which is a useful gap in a nine-runner field over 20 furlongs on good to soft. That margin gives him something in hand, and he looks the one to beat. Hashtag Pretender is the chief danger, with He's Gorgeous (130) and Pride Of Place (128) also in the mix if Zurich fails to run to his best. Zurich can still prevail by the clearest margin on the page.

Zurich arrives with two wins in his last five starts, a second last time out, and a winner four starts back and five starts back, and he has run over today's trip and on this going before. Our top-rated runner, he is the one to beat, though 186 days off and 166 lb are the one reservation.

Pride Of Place has a win five starts back and a third three starts back, and he has run over today's trip and on this going before, while 160 lb is a stiff burden. The risk is a patchy recent record, with an unplaced run last time and a fall two starts back.

He's Gorgeous bounced back with a third last time out and has run over today's trip and going, while his 130 rating ranks him third of nine; the one concern is a 133-day absence, plus 158 lb and a pulled up two starts back.

Pulled up last time out and absent for 178 days, so this gelding has questions to answer, though he did win five starts back and was second three starts back, and has run over today's trip. Carrying 158 lb off 127 is a stiff ask for a fifth-ranked runner in a field of nine.

Hashtag Pretender arrives with solid recent form, a winner two starts back and fourth last time out, and he has run over today's trip and on this going before. Our rating of 133 backs him as a leading threat, but carrying 155 lb after 44 days off is the main risk.

Park That arrives off a second last time out and has been placed in three of his last five, yet he is yet to win in that spell, and a 134-day absence is a concern. He has run over today's trip and going, but 148 lb is a stiff burden.

El Champo is winless in his last five, with two pulled-up efforts and a ninth before a fourth and a sixth last time out, and his yard is out of form at 1/29. He has run over today's trip and going and carries 147 lb off 116, but it is hard to make a case.

Miners Bridge arrives in cracking nick, having won last time out and again two starts back, and he has run over today's trip and going before, but 144 lb is a big burden to carry. Our figures rank him eighth of nine, which makes him hard to fancy.
