Tip for this race
All today's tips ›Hold The Serve is the clear call in this three-runner Uttoxeter contest, with our figures putting him 8 lb ahead of Count of Vendome and a sizeable 16 lb clear of Constellation Walk. That sort of gap over two miles on good ground is hard to overcome in such a small field. Count of Vendome is the main danger and is the one most likely to make him work, while Constellation Walk looks to have the most to find. Hold The Serve is our selection.

Constellation Walk won last time out and has run over today's trip and going, so he arrives with a positive profile, though a 227-day absence is the obvious risk to his fitness. He also carries 159 lb off an official mark of 115.

Count of Vendome arrives in sparkling form, a winner last time out and two starts back, plus another win four starts back, and he has run over today's trip and going before. The one concern is a 198-day layoff, with 159 lb to carry too.

Hold The Serve arrives in cracking order, a runner-up last time out and a winner three starts back, four starts back and five starts back, so three wins in his last five. He's fresh after 15 days and has run over today's trip, though 159 lb is a hefty burden.
