Tip for this race
All today's tips ›The Magus looks a confident choice in this three-runner Class 5 over 26 furlongs at Warwick, with our rating of 106 putting him a huge 21 lb ahead of his nearest rival. That sort of gap is hard to overturn on good ground, and the stamina test should suit a horse of his calibre. Bahtiyar, rated 85, is the main danger, while I Love You Sivola on 81 would need a significant step forward to get involved. The Magus is the selection.

The Magus ran second three starts back before a fall and a pulled up, and he has run over today's trip and going before. Top-rated on our figures at 106, he's the one to beat, though 168 lb is a hefty burden.
