All today's tips ›Shabalko d'Herm No. 1
Toby McCain-Mitchell · Nigel & Willy Twiston-Davies
✓ Top rated ✓ Course winner
Shabalko d'Herm heads our ratings at 123 and gets the nod over a tight-looking Uttoxeter field on good ground over 20 furlongs. He is only narrowly ahead of Valadon on 121, so there is little to spare, and Senator and Duffry Trixs, both on 118, are close enough to make this a competitive contest. Even so, being the best-rated runner in a Class 4 with the rest of the pack further back, Parliamo and Timmys Jet Away on 112 and Moyganny Phil on 106, is a sound basis for support. Shabalko d'Herm is our selection, though the margin for error is slim.

Parliamo won last time out and has run over today's trip and going, but that came 186 days ago and he carries 162 lb, so rustiness and the weight could blunt him. Our rating of 112 ranks him fifth of seven.

Timmys Jet Away has been beaten in three runs since his win four starts back, finishing a fourth, a fourth and a fifth, and now returns after 312 days off. He has run on today's going and our rating ranks him sixth of seven, but 158 lb is a big ask.

Moyganny Phil was third last time out, but he unseated two starts back and has a win three starts back as his only success in his last five. Carrying 151 lb, he has run over today's trip, yet our figures rank him last of seven, which makes him hard to fancy despite the yard's good form.
