Tip for this race
All today's tips ›Golden Joy gets the nod over the top-rated Break My Soul, with a fitness edge the deciding factor in a seven-runner contest over two miles on good ground. Our figures put him level with Indiana Jones on 134, and he sits just five pounds behind Break My Soul on 139, a gap that sharpness can bridge. Break My Soul is the obvious danger given his rating, while Indiana Jones is equally capable on figures and Drumgill, on 125, is the other one to respect. Golden Joy looks the right selection.

Golden Joy finished fifth last time out after a fall two starts back, and he has a second three starts back to lean on, while a 28-day break suggests he's fresh. He has run over today's trip and on this going, though 159 lb is a hefty burden and he is yet to win in recent starts.

Winless in his last five, Maidenstreetprince has been placed three times in that spell, including a second two starts back, but he was only seventh last time out, just 12 days ago. He has run over today's trip and going, yet 151 lb is a stiff ask.

Winless in his last six, Leave In Secret has finished sixth in each of his last two, which makes him hard to fancy, though a second and a third three and four starts back show he can get involved. He has run over today's trip and going, and is back quickly after 13 days, but 140 lb is a stiff ask and our figures rank him sixth of seven.

Mount Frisco is winless in his last five and was unplaced last time, after a faller two starts back, so he's hard to fancy as the outsider on our figures. Thirds three and four starts back and experience of today's trip and going offer some hope at 140 lb.
