Tip for this race
All today's tips ›De Inovator is the only runner in this seven-strong Ffos Las field to carry a rating from us, and a figure of 99 gives him a solid platform over the 16 furlongs on good ground. The six rivals, including Clondaw Sergeant, Goodbye Earl, Memphis Bel, Miravis, Mistral du Chenet and Verney Fox, are all unrated, so there is little to judge them on, and any of them could improve past what we can see. Even so, with a Class 5 contest looking open, De Inovator's established level gives him the strongest claim on what we know, though we hold him with only low confidence. De Inovator is our selection.

Unexposed and open to improvement, Clondaw Sergeant was second last time out and has a third four starts back, though two pulled-up efforts sit in that run. He returns after 165 days off and carries 156 lb, so fitness is the question.

De Inovator showed up well with a second two starts back before a fifth last time out, and he's back quickly after just one day off, having already run over today's trip. Our top-rated runner, he is yet to win in his last two starts, but he looks the one to beat off 155 lb.

Unexposed gelding who won last time out and was third two starts back, so the profile is encouraging, though he returns after 214 days off and carries 155 lb. Lightly raced, he looks open to further improvement.

Memphis Bel is unraced, so this is a clean-sheet debut with nothing on form to judge him by; he's wholly unexposed and open to improvement, and he carries 155 lb.

Miravis is totally unexposed, with no recorded form to go on, so this gelding's debut is a leap into the unknown and there should be improvement to come. He carries 155 lb.

Lightly raced and unexposed, Mistral du Chenet was unplaced on his only recent start and returns after 222 days off, so he has to prove fitness; carrying 155 lb, he is yet to win and could well have more to offer.
