Tip for this race
All today's tips ›Great Dance is our selection and looks the one to beat in this Class 4 over twenty furlongs at Chepstow, with our rating of 118 putting him six pounds clear of his nearest rival, a meaningful edge in a competitive-looking field of eleven. Conditions are twenty furlongs on good to soft ground, and he only needs to run to his rating to be hard to peg back. My Friend Sean, on 112, is the principal danger, with Sage Green on 110 and Karton Plein on 108 also in the mix if the favourite-backers of the form book are to be disappointed. Great Dance gets the nod.

Two To Tango has finished second, third, fourth, second and third in his last five, so he's consistent, and he has run over today's trip and going, but he's yet to win in that spell. Carrying 163 lb after 30 days off, he looks to have plenty to do, and our rating of 107 has him sixth of eleven.

Consistent without cracking it, Can't Resist It was fourth last time out, and a fourth two starts back, with a fifth three starts back, so he's yet to win in his last four. He has run on today's going and returns after 17 days, but 162 lb is a hefty burden for a 104-rated gelding.

Mr McWhinny arrives in cracking form, a second last time out and winner of four of his last six, and has run over today's trip, but 160 lb is a huge burden and our figures rank him only 10th of 11. A 32-day break doesn't help the case.

Karton Plein has run over today's trip and on this going, and a third three starts back and a second five starts back show he can get involved, while our rating of 108 ranks him fourth of eleven. The main risk is fitness, with 195 days off, an eighth last time out and 159 lb to carry.

L'Empire Vert signed off with a fourth last time out, having won two starts back and finished second three starts back, so the recent form is respectable. Our figures rank him ninth of eleven, though, and 154 lb is a big weight to carry, but he has run over today's trip and going.

Rangatira Jack won last time out and was second two starts back, with experience of today's trip and going, but a 168-day absence and 146 lb on his back temper the enthusiasm. Our rating of 94 ranks him eighth of 11.

Bahtiyar is winless in his last six, though he has been placed in three of them, including a third last time out and a second two starts back. Back after just one day, he has run over today's trip and going, but 142 lb and a bottom ranking on our figures make him hard to fancy.
