Tip for this race
All today's tips ›Marlacoo heads our ratings at 114 and gets the nod in this four-runner Class 4 over 20 furlongs at Plumpton, with the good ground posing no obvious concern. Sweet Caryline is the chief danger, only three pounds behind on our figures, so the margin is a modest one rather than a decisive one. Breezethroughlife, six pounds adrift, also needs respecting, while Klic Boum looks to have the most to find at 95. Marlacoo is the selection.

Fourth last time out, with a third two starts back, Breezethroughlife has been consistent without a win, and he has run over today's trip and going before. Our rating of 108 backs the claim, but 154 days off and 162 lb are the main concerns.

Klic Boum arrives in solid form, second last time out and again three starts back, with a third four starts back, and he's fresh from a quick 8-day turnaround having run over today's trip and on this going before. The main risk is that he's yet to win in his last five starts and carries 152 lb.
