Tip for this race
All today's tips ›Palmezzano heads our ratings on 83, a full six pounds better than Justenzia on 77, and that is a healthy edge over a 12-furlong Dundalk field of eleven. Justenzia is the most obvious danger, while Soaring Sun and Pralognan, both on 74, are the others who could make this competitive if Palmezzano is below his best. Given the gap at the top of the ratings and the depth of the rest of the field, he looks the one to beat. Palmezzano is our selection.

Palmezzano won two starts back and is back quickly after seven days, with experience over today's trip and going, while our rating of 83 ranks him top of the 11 on an official mark of 72. A ninth last time out is the one reservation, but he looks the one to beat.

Pralognan bounced back with a third last time out just 14 days ago, has run over today's trip and going, and our rating of 74 sits above his official 71. The risk is a patchy middle spell, with an eighth and a ninth in his previous two outings before that.

Justenzia arrives in good heart after a second last time out, with seconds also three and four starts back, and she's fresh from a nine-day turnaround while having run over today's trip and going. Yet to win in her last six, though, and 139 lb is the main risk.

Sixth last time out after a third two starts back and a winner three starts back, Baila Conmigo has run over today's trip and going and returns after 31 days. Carrying 138 lb off an official mark of 68 is a stiff ask, though our rating of 70 puts him fifth of eleven.

Soaring Sun is a leading danger, having finished third two starts back and won five starts back, and he has run over today's trip and going before. Our rating of 74 ranks him third of 11, but a poor latest run and 46 days off are the worry.

Autocrat arrives in decent heart after a second last time out, and he has run over today's trip and going before, but an unplaced run two starts back and a win three starts back make his form patchy. Carrying 135 lb off 65, he looks a midfield type, with our rating of 62 ranking him eighth of 11.

Storm Eric won two starts back and has been in the frame before, but he was unplaced last time out and returns just seven days later, which makes him hard to fancy. He has run over today's trip and going, yet 129 lb and our ranking of 10th of 11 point to a struggle.

Showyoutheropes is winless in his last six, with a sixth two starts back his best finish since a fourth six starts ago, though he has run over today's trip and going and is fresh enough after 17 days. Our rating of 69 sits well above his official 54, but carrying 124 lb he still has plenty to prove.

Among The Pines is winless in his last five, though a second two starts back shows he can hit the frame, and he returns after 25 days having run over today's trip. Unplaced last time out and carrying 123 lb, he looks a mid-pack type, with our rating of 64 ranking him seventh of 11.

Doctor Grace is winless in her last six, with just a third three starts back to show for it and unplaced last time out, so she is hard to fancy. She has run over today's trip and going and is back after 17 days, but that is thin comfort off 120 lb.

My Vonnie is winless in her last six, with a fifth last time out the best of a run of fifths, sixths and unplaced efforts, so she is hard to fancy. She has run over today's trip and going and is fit after 21 days, but our figures rank her last of 11.
