All today's tips ›He's Bresilian No. 3
Sean Quinlan · Jedd O'Keeffe
✓ Top rated ✓ Distance winner ✓ Back from a 220-day break
He's Bresilian gets the nod at Ayr on our figures, rated 123 and narrowly ahead of The Hatchet on 121, with Tales of Bravery (120) and Soldante (119) also within a few pounds. The margins are tight, so this is far from a foregone conclusion, but he has the best numbers in a six-runner field. The Hatchet is the chief threat, while Tales of Bravery and Soldante are both capable of turning it round if our pick is anything short of his best. Jeune Prince and Platin Moon look to have a bit more to find, so we side with He's Bresilian.

Tales of Bravery arrives in cracking form, runner-up last time out and a winner two starts back, and he has run over today's trip and going before. The one concern is a 247-day absence, with 164 lb to carry on top.

Soldante won last time out and was also a winner four starts back, with a third five starts back, so he arrives in rude form and has run over today's trip and going before. The main risk is a 57-day absence, and a big weight of 163 lb.

He's Bresilian arrives with two wins in his last five starts, a third last time out, and a winner two starts back, and he has run over today's trip and going before. Our top-rated runner carries 160 lb off a mark of 119, though 220 days off is the one reservation.

Without a win in his last five starts, The Hatchet has still been third and second in the two runs before a pulled-up effort, and he has run over today's trip and going before. Our rating of 121 ranks him second of six, but the main risk is a 191-day absence under 155 lb.

Jeune Prince won last time out and has a progressive run of finishes behind him, but that was 627 days ago, and he returns carrying 155 lb. Ranked fifth of six on our figures, he is hard to fancy, though he has run over today's trip.

Pulled up last time out and absent for 191 days, Platin Moon is hard to fancy, and he shoulders 145 lb off an official mark of 104. In his favour, he won two starts back and four starts back, and has run over today's trip and going.
